Basic Consultation
Starting with a discussion about how you'd like to use your property, we can help you design your outdoor space to fit your needs and lifestyle. This service offers a basic consultation where we walk and talk and discuss ideas for your space. We offer suggestions to start creating your dream garden, orchard, medicinal herb garden, food forest, and more! I can also give you alternative feed and fodder options for any livestock you may have. This affordable option is great for those who would like to take a more hands-on approach to their design but maybe just need someone to bounce ideas off of and a little encouragement. You can upgrade at any time. Whether you have an HOA, live in a rural setting, a 1/4 acre or 10 acres, or prefer a well-manicured garden or wild food jungle, we can help you.
One-hour basic consultation for a property walk and talk (with email summary) ranges from $150 to $200 + $0.50 per mile travel, depending on location and needs. This includes a recap email and up to 3 days of support/communication after your consultation.
For an extra $100, I can come back and show you how to properly plant and prune your new trees if you require it (This is otherwise covered in the comprehensive consultation).

ComprehensiveConsultation
Do you need a bit more assistance? The Comprehensive Consultation With Concept Design would include the Basic Consultation walk and talk while we also look at your property's more in-depth design factors. This could include areas with opportunity for improvements, such as low or boggy spots, areas under and or around allelopathic trees that may affect the growth of other plants, sun restrictions, planting guilds, ideal placement of potential structures (such as a coop or barn, greenhouse, rainwater collection, etc.), and more! I will take photos of your property and provide a concept design, a suggested plant and specific variety list for your area, and recommended nurseries you can order from. This option is excellent for those who want to start an orchard or homestead but don't know where to begin. Let’s transform your space!
Consultation with digital images of your Concept Design ranges from $400 to $500 + $0.50 per mile travel, depending on your location and needs. This includes up to 5 concept design images, an in-person presentation, and up to 3 days of support/communication after your consultation. This would also include showing you how to plant and prune your trees when they arrive if you require them.
Fruit Tree Pruning
Is grandma’s peach tree not producing like it once was? Did you recently purchase a home with an overgrown grapevine and want to get it back into productive shape instead of tearing it out? We can help! Unlike most other perennial plants, fruit trees, vines, and shrubs often need to be pruned in a particular way to produce optimally and reduce the risk of contracting diseases. Let us help you bring an overgrown tree back to life or show you how to correctly prune the few you planted in your backyard.
$100 minimum covering the first six fruit trees, vines, or bushes, an additional $20 for each one after that.

Pesticide/Herbicide Application
Although I try to use natural methods as often as possible, often, when it comes to fruit production in our Southeastern climate, we have little choice but to resort to more intensive measures. Let’s talk and see if we can identify your problem with your garden or orchard and solve it holistically. If that fails, we can explore the least invasive method and go from there.
